I have two questions:

First,
I am the captain of our ultimate team in slc utah and I have a teammate who is simply and utterly failing at accquiring a decent backhand or forehand ( we haven't even tried hammer w/ him) and it has been a year. what should I do? I have tried everything.

Second,
I read in an ultimate book that the airbounce was one of the twenty-eight near useless passes. however, a very experienced ultimate player from SUU told me that it was most excellent in the wind. what is your take on this?
thanks,
jman

Joe, you can catch a disc you've thrown as long as anybody else on the field touches it first.

You can check out all of my videos currently online at http://www.ultimaterob.com (I have over 40 videos, many of which talk about throwing).

Cheers,
Rob

Can you catch the disc after you throw it if somebody on your team touches it but doesn't catch it?

hello Drew

a player can't throw to himself unless the disc is touched by another player. So if I threw the disc to someone and someone D'ed the disc, but I caught it before it hit the ground, thats fine. Hope it answers your question =]
