The UltimateHandbook is a general guide for Ultimate players to learn about the game. This site has gone through many incarnations and is likely to go through more as users become more involved.

The first version of the UltimateHandbook was a thorough guide to ultimate frisbee. This version was created in collaboration by several players, many from Vancouver, B.C.

The second version of the UltimateHandbook took the first version, cut out some of the content and focussed on specific topics to target both beginners and intermediate players. This version was created by me, Andre Liem, with the help of many contributors listed in the credits section.

This version, the third one, is a long time coming and initially will not be much different from the second one. The major difference is that the site is now powered by WordPress, a blogging platform / mini content management system, that will make it easier for the site to incorporate user feedback.

For the meantime, this site is in “beta” and will have minimal functionality. Over time expect there to be voting polls, photo streams, and other mechanisms for users to become involved.
